Adapting IT Deployment Training
It’s not unusual for Kalibre to meet with customers via webex meetings, and prior to covid19 our staff would work remotely unless they had to visit a customer site. So in terms of covid19 adjustments, working from home is the normal for all of us at Kalibre. However the training that formed part of our deployments was always conducted on client sites to minimise interruptions for our customers.
With the increase in employees working remotely, requirements around COVID19 in the workplace, and state border closures we could no longer provide onsite training as part of our deployments. As a result, we started creating our training programs as video training that could be accessed remotely, so our customers can now provide their employees with remote online training to continue to extract the best value from the solutions we deploy.
The Kalibre Academy
The Kalibre Academy is an online Learning Management System designed to provide Kalibre customers with access to flexible online training.
Kalibre customers have the option to include the Kalibre Academy training programs as part of their deployment and extend access to training videos through Kalibre Solutions Support. This can provide added value as the courses can be part of new employee induction.
The Kalibre Academy provides the following features:

- Self-paced learning modules with the ability to pause and replay
- Management Reports on user progress
- Employees can participate in training remotely
- Ongoing access to training content with annual support renewals

The training videos are created with modules to deliver the content. Modules provide packets of information so employees are not overloaded with too much information at once and can participate in the training at a pace that suits them.
